How Much Does AirSculpt® Cost in 2026? Details and Factors To Consider

AirSculpt® pricing for smaller treatment areas, like the arms and chin, starts at around $6,000. Your final quote depends on how much fat is removed, how many areas are treated, how complex your plan is, where you're treated, and whether you add a fat transfer. Your surgeon gives you a customized quote during a complimentary consultation.
Cost is often one of the first questions on your mind, and it's a smart place to start. Here's how our pricing works, what shapes your number, and how to pay for it.
What Makes AirSculpt Different From Traditional Liposuction?
AirSculpt is a minimally invasive treatment that removes unwanted fat through a freckle-sized opening, with no scalpel, no stitches, and no general anesthesia. Our patented handpiece lets surgeons remove fat cell by cell, a bit like plucking berries off a bush.
For standard fat removal, the surgeon uses a biopsy punch, a small round tool, to create an entry point about two millimeters wide. A cannula, a thin tube that vibrates rapidly, then gently removes fat from the treatment area. You stay awake under local anesthesia the whole time.
There's one exception to the no-scalpel approach: the Tiny Tuck™, AirSculpt's in-house mini tummy tuck for loose belly skin, uses a small incision.
Traditional liposuction is more invasive and often requires general anesthesia. Its incisions are usually closed with sutures, the medical word for stitches. After traditional liposuction, downtime can last several weeks, and full recovery can take months.
What recovery looks like. Most AirSculpt patients get back to their daily routine within one to two days. That's downtime, and healing continues afterward: swelling often fades within a couple of weeks, though it can take up to a month to fully subside. Bruising typically lasts a couple of weeks to a month.
You'll wear a compression garment, a snug support garment, under your clothes for about 14 days. Strenuous activity isn't recommended right after treatment, so ask your surgeon when it's okay to return to hard workouts. Follow-up visits happen within one week, at about three months, and at about six months.
Risks to discuss. Any procedure carries risk, and AirSculpt can involve bruising, soreness, swelling, pain, and infection. Traditional liposuction risks include infection, bleeding, fluid buildup, contour irregularities (uneven areas), and changes in skin sensation. Your surgeon can review your medical history and discuss the risks that apply to you during your consultation, so please talk through your own risk profile before choosing any procedure.
Why Does AirSculpt Cost More Than Traditional Liposuction?
AirSculpt may cost more on average than conventional fat removal, partly because it's less widely available than traditional liposuction. How the treatment is performed also helps explain why AirSculpt pricing differs from conventional fat removal methods.
- Patented technology. Surgeons use a proprietary handpiece to remove fat cell by cell.
- Fully awake treatment. Staying awake avoids anesthesiologist fees.
- One treatment. Depending on the areas treated and the amount of excess fat able to be removed- we can remove up to 4 or 5L of fat.
- Included care. Consultations and your follow-up visits are free of charge.
For context, the average cost of liposuction was $2,764 in 2022, according to the Aesthetic Plastic Surgery National Databank. That average reflects surgeon and facility fees only, and it may not include anesthesia, medical tests, prescriptions, or surgical garments.
When you compare quotes, ask whether each one includes the surgeon's fee, anesthesia, facility fees, follow-up visits, and garments. Our guide to the core factors affecting liposuction pricing in Miami walks through more of these line items.
How Much Does AirSculpt Cost?
AirSculpt pricing for smaller body parts, like the arms and chin, begins at around $6,000. That's a starting point rather than a set price, because we don't have set prices for our treatment. AirSculpt is a custom treatment, so prices vary significantly from patient to patient.
Larger areas like the full abdomen, fat transfers, and skin tightening vary too much from person to person to give a baseline estimate. Your surgeon will provide a customized quote during your complimentary consultation.
How Does AirSculpt Cost Vary by Treatment Area?
Smaller body parts are quicker to treat, so they're typically less expensive. These smaller areas include the following:
- Arm AirSculpt®
- Front Bra Roll AirSculpt®
- Outer Thigh AirSculpt®
- Inner Thigh AirSculpt®
- Lower Back AirSculpt®
- Knee AirSculpt®
- Buffalo Hump AirSculpt® (the dorsocervical fat pad, a small hump of fat at the base of the neck)
- Pubic AirSculpt®
- Chin AirSculpt®
Larger areas are generally more expensive to treat than small ones. AirSculpt can be performed on almost any area with unwanted fat, including the chin, bra rolls, stomach, flanks, inner and outer thighs, arms, and subgluteal area, just below the buttocks. Liposuction in general is used on the abdomen, arms, buttocks, chin, and thighs.
Treatment time also varies: a full abdominal AirSculpt generally takes between 90 minutes and four hours, depending on how much fat is removed. You can see how different areas are treated in our individual procedure videos.
What Factors Affect AirSculpt Pricing?
Five main factors shape an AirSculpt quote: the amount of fat removed, the number of areas treated, the complexity of your plan, your location, and whether you add a fat transfer. Here's how each one plays in.
Amount of Fat Being Removed
Removing a larger amount of fat takes longer, which raises the cost. The amount of fat to be removed is determined at your consultation.
Number of Treatment Areas
Treating multiple areas means more entry points and more fat removed, which lengthens the procedure and adds to the total. Combining AirSculpt procedures in one session can also reduce costs while getting more done at once.
Complexity of Your Treatment Plan
Every plan is customized to your body and goals, and the complexity of that plan affects your price. Your consultation is a good time to ask what costs your specific plan may involve.
Your AirSculpt Clinic
Pricing is generally consistent across our offices, though larger cities may cost more because of higher living costs, labor costs, and demand.
Fat Transfer or Skin Tightening
A fat transfer moves your own fat to another area where you'd like natural-looking volume, and patients must always use their own fat. The cost of adding one depends on the amount of fat removed and the area being enhanced. Smaller transfers like the Hip Flip™ may cost less than a Power BBL™. Petite patients may not have enough fat to harvest for a transfer to the breasts or buttocks.
AirSculpt is designed to leave treated skin tighter, because the cannula's motion creates gentle heat that encourages collagen, the protein that keeps skin firm. Patients with significant loose skin are likely best suited to the AirSculpt+ skin tightening add-on.

What Financing and Payment Plan Options Are Available?
AirSculpt offers one secure application that returns tailored offers from several of our trusted lending partners. Offers with 12 months of waived interest are available, and viewing your options has no impact on your credit. Payment plans can start as low as $100 per month.
You can also explore additional options through individual partners, and what's available to you may vary:
- Affirm: may let you choose 4 interest-free payments every two weeks or monthly installments, with no late fees.
- CareCredit: a health-related credit card that may let you choose special financing options, subject to credit approval.
- United Medical Credit: may offer multiple plans with flexible terms and no prepayment penalties.
Offers, terms, and eligibility depend on credit approval and can change, so check the details with your lender before you sign. It's wise to take your time with financing decisions rather than feel rushed at the office.
Does Insurance Cover AirSculpt?
AirSculpt doesn't accept medical insurance for elective cosmetic treatment, and insurance doesn't usually cover cosmetic procedures like AirSculpt. Insurance generally doesn't cover elective cosmetic procedures like liposuction either. Financing plans can make the cost more manageable by letting you pay over time instead of all upfront.
Is AirSculpt Worth the Cost?
Whether AirSculpt is worth it is a personal decision, so it helps to weigh the specifics. Most patients return to their daily routine within one to two days, and each procedure removes fat in a single treatment.
Fat removed during AirSculpt is permanently eliminated and won't return to the treated area. The remaining fat cells can still expand with weight gain, so a healthy diet and exercise help you keep your results.
Cost shouldn't be the primary driver when you choose a surgeon, so weigh quality, training, and experience too. Ask about the surgeon's experience, the recovery you can expect, and the risks for your specific case.
